A brief introductory sexual glossary
AC-DC: Bisexual or bisexuality. This modern coinage derives from comparing sexual current, alternating between homosexuality and heterosexuality, expression often found in sexual ads.
Algofilia: desire to feel pain during sexual intercourse.
Ananga Ranga: illustrated Indian sexual manual of the fifteenth century, with descriptions of the erogenous zones of men and women, the cycle of erotic passion according to the phases of the moon and compilations of sexual positions.
Anilingus: stimulation of erotic oral anus
Autoerotic asphyxia: self-induced strangulation or asphyxiation while masturbating Far more dangerous is the partner’s strangulation during the climax, facilitated by the lack of oxygen, up to, but not including, the loss of consciousness.
B&D: of English bondage and domination, the act of immobilization to prevent the movement of the partner during sex.
Belle de Jour: woman living a double life – married conventionally, but looking for erotic variations, for the sake of desire of adventure or due to obsessive compulsion.
Ben Wa: group of spheres, usually two, used as accessory in female masturbation.
Breast Bondage: the act of tying breasts with ropes, laces, bandages and alike, as part of erotic games related to sadomasochism. There is Nipple Bondage, too, which consists of tying up the nipples.
Cicisbeo: love triangle in which a married woman has sex with another man with the husband’s consent.
Golden Shower: when one of the partners urinates on the other during intercourse; erotic attraction by urination.
Coprolalia: obscene language during coitus, characterized essentially by humiliation, mainly pronounced by men.
Corpopraxia: a tic consisting of exhibiting the anus and buttocks
Crossdresser: heterosexual male who has the fetish of dressing up in women’s clothing.
Drag Kings: women who cross dress as men. The reverse version is called Drag Queens.
Escort: women of general good sociocultural level, accompanying men at events, parties, trips and meetings.
Fetishism: sexual interest in some parts of the partner’s body, some physiological function, unusual scenarios, simulation fantasies or attraction to an inanimate object.
Multiple Orgasm: sequence of female orgasms, with intervals of more or less one second, which may occur if the stimulus is not interrupted after the first sign of pleasure.
Foot fetishism: Fetish sexual attraction to the lower extremities, especially feet and associated elements such as shoes or nylon stockings.
Pompoir: a sexual technique in which the woman uses her vaginal muscles to stimulate the penis.
Postllionage: butt thumb, insertion of a finger into the partner’s anus during intercourse.
Sexual predation: impulse to seduce strangers in situations or places supposedly devoid of erotic atmosphere
Puta: from the Latin word putta, meaning girl; syncopated form of putata, clean, innocent.
Roleplay: Dramatic situation created by an erotic plot, as a sexual fantasy mechanism, such as abduction, rescue, boss and secretary, doctor and patient, among many.
Swing: group sex, formed by couples to exchange sexual partners.
Voyeurism: sexual satisfaction in looking at naked people or during sexual acts, without their consent.
